Christmas came early for some thanks to a big donation from the Omaha Storm Chasers. The minor league team donated five-thousand dollars to the Salvation Army to purchase new computers for their after school program.
The computers will be placed in the Salvation Army Center at 24th and Pratt in Omaha and will be made available to students for homework as well as help some of the older ones conduct job searches. Parents will also have access to the computers to complete job applications and to update resumes.
