Gas prices should remain steady during holiday travel week

There is both good and bad news regarding the price at the pump. Rose White with Triple A – Nebraska says crude oil prices have risen in the trading market but processed unleaded fuel prices have not gone up. She says Triple-A predicts fuel prices will remain steady or perhaps only a slight increase during the busy Thanksgiving travel period through Sunday.
Several weeks ago there were fuel terminals in Nebraska with empty diesel tanks. White says there were some issues with diesel fuel supplies over the last few weeks but those problems have been resolved and prices should slide downward in the next week or so.
For those traveling this Thanksgiving week the average price at the pump in Nebraska is $3.42 for regular unleaded and $3.20 for ethanol.
