Huskers beat Doane in sloppy game

The Doane Tigers cut a 20 point halftime deficit to eight with just under 11 minutes to go, but Nebraska pulled out a 76-54 win in men’s exhibition basketball. The Huskers turned the ball over 28 times against the NAIA team. The Tigers made it a 52-43 game thanks to four three-pointer on four straight possessions.
Brandon Ubel and Dylan Talley had 12 points each. Bo Spencer finished with nine points, four assists and four rebounds in his first game as a Husker. NU will open the season at home against South Dakota on Friday night.
