NU volleyball player Cook arrested

Nebraska volleyball player Lauren Cook, the daughter of head coach John Cook, was arrested on Sunday accused of driving under a suspended license and leaving the scene of an injury accident.
Lincoln Police Capt. David Beggs reported that just before noon on Sunday, Cook hit a motorcycle that had been pulled over to the side of Humphrey Avenue near 14th Street. Capt. Beggs reported one of the motorist suffered a broken leg and the a second victim was treated for cuts and scrapes.
Officers pulled the 20 year old Cook over at the intersection of 14th Street and Alvo Road and arrested her. She was jailed and later released Sunday evening.
