Nebraskans needed to help neighbors to east with flood clean up

This is a chance to help our neighbors to the east. Mills County, Iowa was hit hard by flooding over the summer months. Mills County Emergency Management spokesperson Shari Bowen says they will be holding a Flood Recovery Clean Up Day this Friday and Saturday. She says volunteers are needed to help families with clean up and moving belongings inside the home. Those who can not physically help but still be of service can help out with FEMA registrations. Volunteers are needed at the library in Glenwood.
Nebraskans wanting to help can call 712-527-4231 to register. Those with pick ups and trailers are also asked to bring those to the clean up.
