Huskers will start their sixth different cornerback this weekend

Nebraska has started five different cornerbacks this year and now sophomore Stanley Jean-Baptiste will be the sixth. Bo Pelini will give him the start against Minnesota on Saturday. The 6-3, 220-pound Jean-Baptiste moved to cornerback from wide receiver in late September and the coaches weren’t even planning on playing him against Ohio State, but after the defensive secondary was struggling in the first half, Stanley got the call. He rewarded the coaches by picking off a pass in the fourth quarter and then Pelini rewarded Stanley with a game ball. Now he rewards him with a start.
