Friday morning gunfire injures two

Shots rang out near 27th and Fort Streets in Omaha just after 10:00 Friday morning. Police found 45 year old Dawn Jacobsen suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to the University of Nebraska Medical Center for treatment and is expected to be ok.
Police say there were several people inside the house at the time including small children. No one else was injured. Police are searching for two suspects.
In another shooting early this morning, 26 year old Michael Gross was stopped at a light at 60th and “L” Streets in Omaha around 5:15 this morning. He told police someone in an older, dark colored vehicle started firing shots at his car. Gross was struck in the arm and will be ok.
