Skeletal remains found on Grand Island construction site

Authorities are looking into the discovery of human remains in central Nebraska.
Grand Island police say a construction worker on a job site unearthed the skeleton on Wednesday afternoon. Some clothing and a wallet were also found with the remains.
Police say there was some identification in the wallet but haven’t released a name.
Investigators say it appears the remains had been there for a long time.
Police are making arrangements to have the remains looked over by an expert for a positive ID and a possible cause of death.
