Sadler's Huskers bring depth and experience to Big 12 play (AUDIO)

Nebraska will take a 10-game winning streak into Big 12 play as Iowa State comes to Lincoln this Saturday for the league opener at the Devaney Center at 7 p.m.
Iowa State comes into this game with just six scholarship players and one of those is a question mark for the conference opener for first year coach Fred Hoiberg. Senior Scott Christopherson, averaging 15 points and shooting 51% on three hurt his elbow earlier this week and hasn’t been able to shoot the ball.
Doc Sadler knows how difficult it can be heading into a Big 12 schedule with the lack of players or experience. That showed last season after a good non-conference run, the Huskers hung tough in a lot of games, but struggled to close them out. As you’ll hear from Sadler, he thinks this team has more experience and as close as the Huskers were to getting over the hump, this team may surpise some around the league.
