Nebraska’s Jordan Burroughs was named the Big 12 wrestler of the week after Burroughs won the 165 pound title at the Midlands Championships last week snapping #1 ranked Andrew Howe’s 48 match win streak in the finals.
For the season, Burroughs has collected seven technical fall victories and six victories by pin. Burroughs and the Huskers return to action on Saturday, Jan. 15, when they travel to Grand Prairie, Texas to wrestle in the Lone Star Duals. Nebraska is set to dual Stanford, Brown and Utah Valley.
