Police find gift wrapped marijuana

For the Third time this month the State Patrol is seizing Marijuana wrapped in Christmas paper. A traffic stop on Interstate 80 near the Lincoln Airport Interchange, led to the seizure of another load of holiday wrapped marijuana. Monday afternoon, a trooper stopped an eastbound pickup for following too closely. An NSP canine indicated the odor of marijuana coming from the bed of the pickup.
A search of the pickup led to the discovery of several gift wrapped boxes. The boxes contained 42 lbs of marijuana. The driver,  Randy G. Fleener of California was arrested. On Dec. 16, 2010, troopers made two separate traffic stops in which the vehicles held several gift wrapped packages of marijuana. The marijuana in the two previous stops totaled nearly 48 lbs.
