Troopers make three stops, seize 56 pounds of pot

Three separate traffic stops over the past two days have led Nebraska state troopers to seize 56 pounds of marijuana. The driver who was pulled over in Sarpy County for following too closely on Monday was an Iowa man who troopers say was carrying ten pounds of pot. On Tuesday, troopers pulled over a motor home near Lincoln for a license plate problem, searched the RV and found nearly 41 pounds of pot, wrapped up in 37 packages under a bed. The driver and a passenger, both from Pennsylvania, were arrested. Another stop on Tuesday near Kearney led troopers to a black trash bag in the back of a Jeep, stuffed with five pounds of marijuana. A Colorado man and an Indiana woman were arrested in that case.
