Nebraska volleyball ends the season ranked 7th

The Nebraska Volleyball team, which was knocked out of the NCAA tournament in the Sweet 16, dropped to number seven in the final AVCA Coaches Top 25 poll.
It’s the first time the Huskers have finished out of the top five since 2003 when the team finished 13th in the rankings.
Penn State was the unanimous No. 1 selection after the Nittany Lions won their fourth consecutive NCAA championship on Saturday. Runner-up California was second in the final rankings, followed by USC, Texas and Stanford. Washington, which eliminated Nebraska in the semifinals of the Seattle Regional, was sixth, finishing just ahead of the Huskers.
