Lopers football ranked 23rd in final rankings

The final American Football Coaches Association Division II poll came out this week and the Nebraska-Kearney Lopers, who finished 9-2, end the season with a final ranking of 23rd. Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference rival Colorado School of Mines (9-3) finished 19th. They beat the Lopers 55-53 in triple overtime in the final game of the season to jump past the Lopers into the playoffs leaving UNK at home.
