Woodhead coming through for Pats

On Monday Night Football, New England pounded the Jets 45-3 and if you watched the game or follow the Patriots you’ll notice they are getting the most out of 5’7 Danny Woodhead.
The North Platte native is a former Chadron State Eagle. Woodhead who ran twice for 11 yards, caught four passes for 104 yards including a 50 yarder (which was tops on the team) and made two tackles on special teams against the team that first took a chance on the Division II standout. Woodhead use to play for the Jets.
In college Woodhead set several NCAA college football rushing records, including single season rushing and all-time rushing until that was broken in 2008. In 2006 and 2007, he won the Harlon Hill Trophy, awarded to the best player in NCAA Division II.
