Nebraska native a finalist for Harlon Hill Trophy

In my story about Danny Woodhead, I mentioned he was a two-time winner of the Harlon Hill Trophy. Now, we have another Nebraska native who is a finalist this year.
Blake Bolles, a Lincoln Southwest grad, is a senior and quarterback at Northwest Missouri State, which is in Maryville, MO. That’s about a two and a half hour drive from Lincoln.
Bolles is one of three finalists for this year’s Harlon Hill. He won the Division II national title last year with his team and now is in the semifinals again for the sixth straight year. He finds out on December 17th if he wins the award.
Bolles has passed for 3,705 yards and 29 touchdowns while completing almost 63% of his passes this season.
