Nebraska called "retirement hell"

There are more than 240,000 people in Nebraska of retirement age. Kiplinger Magazine claims they’re living in “retirement Hell.” Burke Brown with the Platte Institute cites several reasons.
“Because of how Nebraska taxes retirement benefits, be that pensions or social security, and also just property taxes here in Nebraska, Nebraska is considered not a very good place to be for retirees.”
The Washington D.C.-based publisher of business forecasts and personal finance ranks Nebraska as one of the ten worst states for a retiree from a tax standpoint.
