Women's triathlon coming to Omaha

A challenge for all women in Nebraska. The first U-S-A Omaha Women’s Triathlon is scheduled for May 22nd. This is a great opportunity for women to show what they are made of, but competing in the event that includes swimming 750 kilometers, biking 20 kilometers and
then a 5-K run.
Event director Allen Kohll says most women can train for this event in three months. Women’s only events in the U-S are growing at an increasingly rapid pace especially in the area of triathlon. Over 800 women are expected to
take part coming from all areas of the country.
All proceeds will benefit the Olson Center for Women’s Health at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Registration is underway and you can get more information at http://www.omahawomenstri.com/.
