A 53 year old man crashed his car twice in Lincoln on Sunday morning. He drove his car into a ditch, a witness tried to keep him there, but police reports say he drove off, hit a utility pole and died from his injuries. It’s not believed alcohol was a factor. In another wreck Saturday near York, an SUV crossed the median on Interstate 80 and hit a semi head-on and burst into flames. Two women and two children in the SUV died in that crash. Also, a 32-year-old Iraq War veteran from Lincoln died after a wreck with a semi Friday. Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt.
