Nebraska-Kearney volleyball gets rematch with MN-Duluth

For the 12th straight season, the Nebraska-Kearney volleyball team has been selected to play in the 64-team NCAA Division II Tournament.
The 10th-ranked Lopers (29-4) are the 4th seed in the Central Region and will face 5th-seed, and 7th-ranked, Minnesota-Duluth (23-5) Thursday at 5:00 p.m. in Marshall, MN. Last year in a first round match, UMD swept the Lopers (-17, -18, -21).
The eight-team tournament will be held at the P.E. Gym on the campus of Southwest Minnesota State. The winner of the Central Regional will advance to the Elite Eight December 2-4 in Louisville, Ky., as part of the Division II Sports Festival.
The Lopers will be making their 15th overall NCAA appearance. UNK is 23-14 all-time in NCAA play and has advanced to the Elite Eight five times, most recently in 2005.
