The first and only astronaut from Nebraska who’s been in space will soon get a new honor.
Ashland native Clayton Anderson, who spent five months aboard the International Space Station, will be roasted and toasted November 19th at the Omaha Press Club.
A caricature of Anderson will be placed on the wall of the club, a tradition nearly 40 years in the making.
It carries the images of dozens of Nebraska newsmakers over the decades, from Tom Osborne to Warren Buffett to Larry the Cable Guy.
