Huskers Go For Back To Back Titles

The Nebraska Cornhusker bowling team will be in the running for their second consecutive national championship this morning in New Jersey. This is after an exciting day of matches in the elimination round of the NCAA Championships on Friday.
The Huskers started the round on Friday by beating Central Missouri State 4-1. Nebraska would then lose its next round to Fairleigh Dickinson 4-2.
This forced Nebraska into the elimination bracket where they took on Vanderbilt. The Huskers would beat Vanderbilt in five games, 177-219, 206-182, 225-185, 236-216, 213-159.
Next up would be a battle with Arkansas State. The Huskers would beat them in six games, 206-199, 216-211, 195-204, 198-183, 201-245, 185-165.
It will be a little deja vu as Nebraska will take on Arkansas State again this morning at 11:30.
If the Huskers can win again, this would put them into the championship match against Fairleigh Dickinson.
