O-Royals win in final home opener at Rosenblatt

Kila Ka-aihue hit a two run homer in the third inning to start an Omaha rally as the Royals battled back from a 3-0 deficit against the defending Pacific Coast League champion Memphis Redbirds for a 6-4 win on the final home opener at Rosenblatt Stadium.  Jordan Parraz led off the fourth with a game-tying, line-drive homer. Irving Falu drove in the go-ahead run with a sixth-inning single, and Wilson Betemit added a sacrifice fly. Scott Thorman had an RBI double in the seventh.
Its good to see Ka’ahiue off to a good start.  In 2008, Ka-ahiue hit 37 homers, but last year that number dropped to 17. He had a great spring with the Royals in Arizona and was with the big league team until the final week of spring.
