Family Justice Center of the Midlands opens soon

Victims of domestic violence have a central location to het help from a number of government and social service agencies. The Family Justice Center will start operations by mid-April at the Grain Exchange building near 19th and Harney. Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning says the new facility provides victims a vehicle to escape the trauma of violent situations.
Karen Hadley is a spokesperson with the Family Justice Center of the Midlands and says they will have the support of several government and social agencies. That includes law enforcement, legal aid, social services and victim’s help assistance.
