Creighton set for SFA tonight in WNIT

Creighton is appearing in the WNIT for the third consecutive season and sixth time in eight seasons under Jim Flanery as the Lady Bluejays will host Stephen F. Austin tonight.
Creighton is 12-6 all-time in the postseason WNIT (7 previous appearances). The Jays are 10-4 in five appearances under Jim Flanery. The Bluejays won the 2004 WNIT and advanced to the 2003 WNIT Final Four.
Megan Neuvirth enters the WNIT just six rebounds shy of tying the school record for rebounds in a season. Her 918 career rebounds rank second in school history and ninth in MVC history.
Creighton owns an 11-3 record at home this season – its first in the brand new D.J. Sokol Arena. The Jays have won their last six home games and 22 of their last 26 at home. The Bluejays again played the strongest non-conference schedule in the MVC, facing three nationally-ranked Big 12 programs to conclude their pre-MVC schedule.
Stephen F. Austin is 18-10 on the season, after winning the East Division of the Southland Conference with a 13-3 record … SFA was upset in the first round of the SLC Tournament, 96-82, by Northwestern State, snapping a seven-game winning streak.
