Three dead in two Omaha shootings

Omaha police say two shootings early Sunday morning that left three people dead are gang related. Omaha Police Dept. Lt. Darci Tierney says however, they still do not know if the shootings are related.
The first shooting happened around 1:30 near 45th and Nicholas. Several people were standing outside a home when another group of people walked up and one started firing shots. One person died after being taken to a hospital and the other victim was shot but will be ok. Lt. Tierney says the investigation continues at that location.
At 2 o’clock, more shots were fired near 42nd and Browne. Two men inside a vehicle were shot. One was pronounced dead at the scene and the other victim died at a hospital. Lt. Tierney says they are getting more details about what happened.
