Hastings women’s coach Jeff Dittman was named Great Plains Athletic Conference Coach of the Year and Broncos men’s coach Lance Creech was named the conference’s coach of the year as well. Both Broncos programs are in the NAIA D-II national tournament.
In the Men’s tourney, Hastings will play at 9:15 next Thursday night against Cardinal Stritch of Wisconsin. The other Nebraska school, Bellevue will play next Thursday at noon against William Jessup of California.
On the women’s side, top ranked Hastings opens play next Wednesday at 1:45 against Maine-Ft Kent, Concordia next Wednesday at 5:15 against Indiana Wesleyan.
