Miss Nebraska comments on pageant experience

Just over a month ago, the reigning Miss Nebraska, Brittany Jeffers, did something that no other Miss Nebraska was able to accomplish in 26 years – make it to the top ten in the Miss America Pageant. Jeffers said the experience in Las Vegas at the end of January was a wonderful one.
“It’s so hard to summarize the entire experience, I was there for close to two weeks and It was just incredible, ya know just everything about it. Ya know The caliber of women I was surrounded by, the other 52 contestants, the opportunity I had to compete at that level…..and it is just something that I will absolutely never forget.”
Miss Virginia was the woman crowned as the 2010 Miss America. Jeffers said she had a feeling about Miss Virginia, even long before the Miss America Pageant.
