This week's honored Nebraska basketball players

Bellevue native and sophomore point guard Antoine Young of Creighton was named the Missouri Valley Conference player of the week. Young scored a career high 22 points in an overtime road win at Southern Illinois then had a career high 8 assists to go with 12 points in a win over Bradley on Saturday.
Chadron State’s Kaitlin Petri was named the Nebraska NCAA Division II Women’s Player of the Week for the fifth time this season. She went over 1,000 points in Saturday’s season finale. Tyler Bullock of Nebraska Omaha named the D-II Men’s Player of the Week. 14 of 14 at the line and scored 20 or more points for the fifth game in a row on Saturday.
In a vote by league fans, former Creighton star Kyle Korver was named the top player in Arch Madness history, that being in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament . Korver is the leading three point shooter in Valley history.
