Californians trip ends in Nebraska after traffic stop

Two Californians are now jailed in south-central Nebraska on drug charges.
A Nebraska State Trooper from North Platte pulled over the minivan for speeding on Interstate 80 near Lexington on Monday afternoon.
After talking with the driver, the trooper said he smelled marijuana.   A probable cause search revealed two duffle bags in the van with a total of 60 pounds of pot.
The driver, a 27 year old woman from Long Beach, California, and the passenger, a 33 year old man from L.A., are both being held in the Dawson County Jail on charges of possession with intent to deliver.
