Outstanding performances by Wayne State and UNK men's hoops

The Nebraska-Kearney men’s basketball team and the Wayne State men’s basketball team put together some outstanding team performances this weekend.
First, the Lopers made 17 three pointers, tying a school record, and held off 25th ranked Metro State 77-75, Saturday afternoon in Denver.
At 12-13, 7-10 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, the Lopers have some work ahead of them if they hope to reach the RMAC Tournament. The Lopers will need two wins next weekend and then get some help.
The Wayne State College men’s basketball team capped an impressive Northern Sun Conference road win Saturday night handing the University of Mary its first home loss of the season in a 76-53 rout at in Bismarck, North Dakota. The Wildcats shot 71.7% from the field, making 33 of 46 shots from the field against the Marauders.
