Janssen's bill to repeal helmet law does not move on

The law that requires those on a motorcycle to wear a helmet in the state of Nebraska will not be repealed, despite the best efforts of Fremont Senator Charlie Janssen. He is not sure if he will bring the bill again.
“It’s too early to tell, the game just got over, we’ll wait and see what the legislative agenda looks like – we’ll see what bills come to my desk.”
Many argued that the taxpayers of Nebraska end up paying the medical bills for those that suffer serious injuries following motorcycle wrecks.
