Division II football recruiting recap

I understand much of the focus around our state is going to be on the Nebraska Cornhuskers and their recruiting class, but one of the things we try to do at NebraskaRadioNetwork.com and through out reports on our affiliated stations is give enough print and air time to our Division II programs. So, this is kind of a one stop shopping guide for links to Nebraska-Kearney, Nebraska-Omaha, Chadron State and Wayne State recapping their 2010 recruiting classes.
The UNK Lopers, who made it to the second round of the Division II football playoffs signed 34 players including 20 from Nebraska.
Chadron State coach Bill O’Boyle said his team targeted specific players and was very happy with the 20 players they signed on Wednesday.
Wayne State signed their largest recruiting class in years getting 25 signees including two transfers. 20 of those who signed on with the Wildcats are in-state recruits.
The Mavericks of Nebraska-Omaha will have 20 new student-athletes plus three transfers coming in next season. They biggest focus was on the line, where UNO signed seven defensive linemen and two offensive linemen.
