Omaha woman sentenced for part in brutal murder

Omaha prostitute Alissa Parks was sentenced to five years in prison for her role in the torture and murder of a man who owed her $15. Colby Dandrow was beaten, stabbed and burned in November of 2007.
William Fay is Dandrow’s stepfather and says this whole ordeal has been a nightmare for the entire family. Fay believes that Parks was there when Dandrow was killed and didn’t try to stop it. He also believes that Parks took part in the beating and the torture.
Dandrow was stabbed more than 100 times and burned with a curling iron before beaten to death. Parks enlisted the help of four friends to collect the debt. All of the others involved have been sentenced and one is serving a life sentence. Parks was charged with false imprisonment. She has already served two years behind bars.
