Eldery woman rescued from burning house

A dramatic fire rescue in Omaha Saturday night. An elderly woman was pulled out of her burning home. Firefighters were informed by neighbors there was a person trapped inside. They heard the screams for help outside the home.
Firefighters were able to break down the door and followed the cries for help and found the woman on the basement steps. She was carried to safety.
The dead bolt on the door had a locking mechanism where a key was needed to unlock it from the inside. The woman was looking for the key when the fire grew out of control.
The victim has been identified as 83 year old Dorothy McLean. She will be ok. A defective wall outlet caused the blaze. McLean is the wife of Motto McLean, the man known as the founder of ice hockey in Omaha.
