NU picks up 18th recruit for 2010 season

The Husker football team picked up their 18th recruit for 2010, getting a commitment from Kenny Bell, a 6’2 175 pound wide out from Boulder Colorado. He picked NU over Oregon. Bell played receiver, running back, quarterback, defensive back and punter. He says he’ll play where Coach Pelini and the staff think he’ll best help the team.
The kid needs to add some meat on those bones…only 175 pounds at 6’2, but he’s athletic. Back to the first commit of the 2010 class and that is Aurora’s Andrew Rodriquez. He’s 6’6 300 pounds. He’s in San Antonio this weekend for the US Army All-American Bowl.
This is the 10th anniversary of this bowl game. Reggie Bush, Vince Young and Adrian Peterson all made their national debuts as U.S. Army All-Americans. The game can be seen on NBC this Saturday at noon, central time.
