Goss says don't expect a pay raise

Significant pay raises aren’t looking very promising for many Nebraskans. Creighton University Economist Ernie Goss tells us that his latest survey of supply managers also shows few hiring and continued job losses.
“A lot of companies are saying…’at least you have a job and the fact that you are not getting a raise, well prcies are not growing that quickly either. Well, I expect at least according to our survey, inflation’s going to be up for 2010.”
Goss says that we do appear to be moving out of recession, but says that a big drop in the region’s farm income has hurt companies that have close ties to agriculture.
