Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson says he’s happy to hear from the President that he does not want to add one dime to the deficit for health care reform. However, he is not confident that the public option will be in the final bill. Some have said the public option is on life support.
“I think that’s probably accurate, given the fact that this version that’s being exposed today from the finance committee doesn’t include it.”
Nelson encourages people to call his office with their opinions on health care reform and says he consistently reads through the call log from constituents.
