License service delayed by power surge

Nebraska was set to roll out a brand new driver’s license monday, but not everything went as planned. State DMV Director Beverly Neth tells us, a power surge at the state office building while uploading the system throughout the state has set the process back.
“We really haven’t been able to get the system up and running since that, so we’re woking very hard to diagnose the problem and get things running.”
Neth says the new license system will likely be up and running by Wednesday, but until then all driver’s license services in Nebraska are suspended.
