A big nosedive when it come to Nebraska state tax revenues. In fact, the state tax revenues took the biggest dive since they started keeping track 28 years ago. The Fiscal year ended at the start of the month and state tax revenue was down 4.4%. A group of State Lawmakers met at the capitol to discuss the problem, they have decided not to call a special session. The news wasn’t all bad. Nebraska doesn’t have any cash flow problems and there is still $325 million in the rainy day fund.
