Decomposed body found in an Omaha home

A grizzly murder investigation in Omaha. A woman has been charged with murder and police are trying to determine if the victim is her 12 son.
A badly decomposed body was found inside a house near 38th and Ida on Sunday. Police were called to the home because of a request to check on the well being of a mother and child.Neighbor Melissa Moreno says there has been no activity at the house for about a week. She has not seen anyone coming or going from the home and there have been no cars seen in the driveway. Moreno described the 12 year old as a normal boy who played with her children. She also stated he was a loving boy.
It could take several days to positively identify the body due to the stage of decomposition. Police were seen today carrying evidence out of the home including a headboard of a bed and several large sealed buckets.
46 year old Angela Manns has been booked on first degree murder.
