Omaha loses another one run, extra inning game

The Omaha Royals dropped another one run and extra inning game Thursday night in New Orleans as the Zephyrs tied the game in the seventh and won in the bottom of the 10th by a 4-3 final.
Omaha starter Heath Phillips pitched well going six innings, allowing six hits and two runs, both unearned. He also helped himself in the fifth inning when doubled to start the inning. Travis Metcalf singled on a line drive to center with Phillips going to third. Tim Raines Jr. doubled to right scoring Phillips. An infield single by Irving Falu put runners on the corner. Tug Hulett and JR House hit sacrifice flies to score two more.
New Orleans tied the game in the seventh and won it in the bottom of the 10th on a bases loaded single by Gaby Sanchez off reliever Victor Marte. Another one run and extra inning loss for the O-Royals.
The O-Royals are now 7-20 in one run ball games this season.
