Former Husker accused in bank fraud case

An oft-troubled ex-Husker football player is back in jail again. Lynn Finney was arrested Monday for defrauding Union Bank out of 16-hundred dollars when he allegedly made five bogus A-T-M deposits.
Finney is accused of making five empty envelope deposits in early June and withdrew money on the artificially-inflated account balance. Finney had only two actual dollars in the account.
Last year, the 55-year-old Finney was arrested for passing an already-voided check off the account of Tom Osborne to buy food at a Lincoln restaurant.
