Omaha shutouts Isotopes

John Buck is starting to hit well during his rehab stint at Omaha. Buck had an RBI single in the first inning and Lenny DiNardo and Carlos Rosa did the rest in a 2-0 win Monday night over Albuquerque.
DiNardo pithced seven scoreless innings and Rosa saved the game with two scoreless innings of relief as the two pitchers combined for a five hit shut out.
The Isotopes would have their best chance to score in the seventh with DiNardo clinging to a 1-0 lead. They loaded the bases with a one out walk, but DiNardo got a double play ball to end the inning.
Mario Lisson reached in bottom of the inning and later scored on a single from Tim Raines Jr. Isotope starter Charlie Haeger is a knuckleball pitcher who gave up two runs, just one earned over seven innings. It’s the second time he’s lost in his last four starts after only allowing one earned run.
