Saltdogs go 6-0 on home stand

The Lincoln Saltdogs wrapped up a perfect 6-0 homestand beating Sioux City 11-3 at Haymarket Park. Fans thought they may be in for a second no-hitter in four days.  The Saltdogs have two sweeps in a row to move to 18-23 on the season.
Lincoln scored four runs in the first on a Pichi Balet RBI single, a Shawn McGill run-scoring double, and Shea McFeely two-run double against Sioux City starter Ty Marotz (2-6). Lincoln added a run in the fifth on another McGill RBI, and scored three more in the sixth, one in the seventh and two in the eighth.
Lincoln starter Jonathan Figueroa (3-4), no-hit the Explorers lineup through his first six innings. In the seventh, Walter Young ended the no-hit bid with a solo home run in the seventh, and Figueroa ending up giving up three runs on four hits in 6.2 innings.
