LSU and Texas set for CWS finals

LSU used eight extra base hits and six scoreless innings from right-hander Anthony Ranaudo to win 14-5 victory over Arkansas Friday afternoon at Rosenblatt Stadium. Catcher Cameron Rupp and center fielder Connor Rowe hit solo home runs in the bottom of the ninth to give Texas a 4-3, walk-off win over Arizona State Friday night at Rosenblatt Stadium. #3 LSU and #1 Texas square off in the College World Series final starting Monday night at 6pm.
The number one seed has not won since Miami in 1999. LSU is hoping to keep it that way. These teams are no strangers to the College World Series. LSU is looking for their 6th national title, the Longhorns 7th.
The Tigers, making their 15th College World Series appearance in school history, improve to 8-0 in the NCAA Tournament and 54-16 on the season with their 13th consecutive win.
The Longhorns, making their 32nd College World Series appearance in school history, improve to 8-1 in the NCAA Tournament and 49-14-1 on the season.
