Omaha building collapse

A building collapse caused the closing of Ames Avenue between 39th and 42nd Street in Omaha Wednesday night. This happened when a van ran into the side of Hank’s Place bar around 10 p.m. Nearly two dozens customers were inside the building at the time but no one suffered serious injuries. A building next door that houses a barbershop was also damaged. Apartments are located in both buildings. 38 year old Scott Stisi was arrested at the scene. He was booked for driving on a suspended license, having improper license plates and hitting a fixed object. There was also a misdemeanor warrant on file for his arrest.
