O-Royals Come Up Short

The Omaha Royals jumped out to an early lead but could not hang on as New Orleans posted a 3-2 victory Tuesday Night. The O-Royals jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first on Scott Thorman’s two-run homer.  After that, Omaha went scoreless and produced just two hits after the second inning. New Orleans plated a run in the second and two in the third for the victory. The O-Royals will try to avoid a sweep with the finale of the three-game series Wednesday afternoon.
