Two Huskers drafted, Phillies take three local products

Two Nebraska Cornhuskers were selected in day two of major league baseball’s draft. The Philadelphia Phillies also scooped up three Nebraska college players.  Day three of the draft continues on Thursday.  Bios and more info on the drafted players are linked with this story
Right handed pitcher Mike Nesseth was picked in the 15th round by the Angels. Infielder Jeff Tezak was selected in the 24th round by the White Sox, plus three Husker recruits were picked.
The Phillies scooped up three local guys picking first basement Darin Ruf from Creighton, Nebraska Omaha shortstop Evan Porter and Bellevue pitcher Justin Long.
