NU's wrestling class ranked near the top

Wrestling Insider Newsmagazine ranked Nebraska’s recruiting class third in the nation. Minnesota and Oklahoma State were 1-2. Oklahoma came in fourth behind the Huskers. All six wrestlers that signed a National Letter of Intent with the Huskers last fall won state titles this past winter.
Those six wrestlers are:
–Liberty High’s David Klingsheim. Won two consecutive championships. Just the 18th wrestler to place in four state meets in California.
–Kyle Waldo of Rockford (Mich.) High. He won his fourth consecutive state title to become the 14th four-time state champion in Michigan high school history.
–C.J. Napier, Columbus (Kan.) High. Three state titles.
–Cody Compton, North Co. High (Bonne Terre, MO). Three state titles. Brother of NU linebacker Will Compton.
–Michael Klinginsmith, Kearney Catholic High, Three state titles and 128 career victories.
–Caleb Kolb, Grove City High, (Penn.) Won a state title last year while going 39-0.
